Style Icon: Sandra Bullock

This Hollywood diva’s fashion sense and consistent style cannot be described in mere words. The long-legged beauty turned some serious heads while promoting her films Gravity and The Heat with her sleek figure in glamorous Bodycon dresses.

The actor is an under-rated star in Hollywood in terms of style. While she was usually seen in boxy tom-boyish shirts and tailored suits during her Miss Congeniality days, as time has  progressed, the likeable actor has become one of the most stylish women on the red carpet in recent years.

She has experimented with gowns, jumpsuits and bright colours all throughout the year — it appears that her fashion sense has taken a 180 degree turn from the masculine silhouettes she once favoured. Bullock sizzled in an Alberta Ferretti cobalt blue jumpsuit while promoting The Heat in Sydney, Australia. Unlike her ragged jeans and t-shirt combos from the ’90s, she looked polished and edgy in chic gladiator shoes from Gwen Stefani’s LAMB line. Similarly, the Speed star flaunted her feminine side in a gorgeous crisp white Giambattista Valli dress and matching Giuseppe Zanotti ankle-strap shoes at the New York premiere of Gravity. However, the actor really stole the show at the Venice Film Festival in a jaw-dropping scarlet J. Mendel gown and black accessories.

Although Bullock has denied all rumours about the pair, we can’t help but feel that the revamped Sandra could be excellent arm candy for George Clooney, and vice versa. Whatever has prompted this new side of hers, we love the new, trendy and fashion-savvy Bullock — simply WOW!
