Late singer Whitney Houston’s four wax works have been unveiled at the famous Madame Tussauds museum in London. This is the first time in 200 years that museum authorities have made four different statues of the same person simultaneously.
The four statues show the singer at different stages of her life in her three-decade-long musical career. Although created in London, they will be displayed in other cities as well, reports contactmusic.com. The singer died February 11 last year.
“We were extremely honoured when Madame Tussauds approached us about doing four figures of Whitney from different points in her 30-year career. This is something we are excited to do for the fans,” Houston’s manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston said. The statues will be unveiled in New York on Thursday.
