The star-studded awards ceremony, hosted by Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul, had lots of comic moments and quick-witted comebacks that kept the star-studded audience thoroughly entertained.
Those who took the stage with exuberant performances included Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, among others. Shahrukh Khan teamed up with Bharati and presented an extended comical performance of each of the Best Film nominees. King Khan was unable to dance due to his injury and opted for a different kind of entertainment, showing the audience some impressive magic tricks.
Chennai Express and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag went ahead with the highest number of nominations, that is 15 and 11 respectively. As expected, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Goliyon kee Rasleela –Ram Leela, Chennai Express and Aashiqui 2 walked away with most of the trophies. Honey Singh and Priyanka Chopra were recognised as the International Style Icons.
