After getting rave reviews for the Urdu dubbing of Turkish soap Manahil aur Khalil, Express’ entertainment channel has two new foreign shows that promise to leave viewers glued to their TV screens. This time around, the channel will be launching two foreign contents — one of them is a Turkish mega hit serial Asi, while the other one is an Indian soap titled Na Bolay Tum Na Mein Ney Kuch Kaha.

The serial, which was nominated as the Best Soap Opera at the 51st Monte-Carlo Television Festival for its mass viewership, revolves around the lives of Asiya (Tuba Büyüküstün) — or Asi as she is commonly known — and Demir Dogan (Murat Yıldırım), and their respective families.

For three generations, the Agha Kozcuoglu family owns a prominent plantation in Antakya. Asi and her father, Ihsan Agha, work and live for their land. However, things change when Demir returns to his hometown as a rich businessman still embittered by his mother’s death. On his arrival, he meets Asi and is immediately drawn to her. Later it is revealed that Demir’s mother, Emine, and aunt, Suheyla, were workers on the Agha farm until his mother drowned herself in the nearby river Asi (Orontes). Following Demir, his aunt Suheyla returns to Antakya and it becomes evident that Agha family and Demir’s family bear more connections from the past. As Demir and Asi start coming closer these family secrets make them drift apart. Will they ever be able to reconcile?

The drama, which was aired in more than 60 countries and dubbed in multiple languages, will be aired five times a week (Monday to Friday) from January 14 at 10:30pm.

The second serial, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha is an unusual love story of Megha and Mohan, who start off by hating each other and discover love in their tumultuous relationship. When the serial came to an end, viewers and ardent fans called producers to revive the show. This extraordinary feedback urged the producers to provide the audiences with a new season of the show.

Season two will begin with a leap sequence, showing Megha’s daughter, Nanhi, has grown up. Megha and Mohan will play mature characters. The story also introduces a boy opposite grown up Nanhi, who will be romantically involved with her.

The show will be simulcast with Indian TV channel Colors, five days a week (Monday to Friday) from January 14.
