Pakistan television show host and actor Faisal Qureshi recently announced his decision to launch a new mobile phone application, according to a press release.
The app, which promises the ability to access all information about Faisal, from his biography to his program schedules and his latest projects, will be available for download on all Android phones and tabs as well as iPhones and iPads. Notifications on the app will allow his fans to receive messages on their phones every time there is a new development in the star’s professional career.
On the topic of what drew his inspiration to have such an app developed for his fans, Quraishi commented: “My fans are very important to me, and by launching this application, they will not only be able to receive notifications about my shows directly on their phones but all my social media communication will also be available to them, literally straight in their hands.”
Another app launched by a Pakistani was a project of guitarist Asad Ahmed, who revealed the news in April 2014 about the launch of his own mobile application. Asad has previously been a member of the famous pop trio Awaz, has played with Junoon and Vital Signs, and is currently a founding member of rock band Karavan. His free mobile app allows the user to listen to music, check out photos and videos, read blog posts and get exclusive push notifications straight to their mobile devices.
