Mahira Khan, who is currently visiting India to promote Humsafar airing  on Indian channel Zindagi TV, joined fellow Pakistani actor Ali Zafar and his Bollywood co-stars Ranveer Singh and Govinda to celebrate the release of Kill Dil.

Mahira, who is in India to meet her fans following her hit show Humsafar’s successful run on Zindagi channel, joined the actors to watch the film screening of the Shaad Ali movie in Mumbai on Friday night.

After enchanting Pakistani fans with her powerful yet sensitive role in Sarmad Khoosat’s drama serial, Humsafar, the actress has won over hearts across the border too since the drama aired on Zee Zindagi channel on November 8.

The Bol actress who is visiting Lucknow, Delhi and Mumbai tweeted pictures documenting her trip.

Humbled and surprised by her popularity in India, Mahirah told Indian Express, “I thought I would go shopping and roam around as no one will identify me but as soon as I got in a mall, I saw people calling me Khirad and coming to me. It was surreal.”

Commenting on the similarity between the two neighbouring countries during her interview, Mahira said, ”Everything is the same. I believe the thing that connects us is our language. If I am outside and hear a voice which is like me there is an instant connect. And I feel that is present between both countries.”

Besides her good looks and acting skills, the actress also has an impeccable style and wowed with her outfits during her visit.
