Ijaazat will portray Humaima in the character of Pares Usmani, who creates a love triangle between the lead pair in the show. In fact, Ijaazat was Humaima’s debut on Pakistani TV also.
Ijaazat is the story of Sahil, a film director and his wife, Seep, who is a writer. The story follows the life of the couple who are madly in love with eachother until Seep writes about a woman who fits her husband’s ‘dream girl’ character — a girl called Diya. Sahil frantically searches the perfect girl to play Diya and meets Pares (Humaima) and is enamoured with her resulting in trouble in Sahil and Seep’s marriage.
