We love Kiran Chaudhry because she’s adorable and has that lovely voice, but we’re not too happy with this look she sported at Sania Maskatiya’s flagship store opening in Lahore.
The charge sheet
Hair
With all the crazy things you can do with your hair these days, it’s a surprise that the singer wore it on the side. A blow dry and some volume on the crown would have made it look less lifeless.
Make-up
Kiran seems to be missing some under-eye concealer that is a must-have for many of us! Some mascara and peach blusher would have brightened up her look, too. The almost-red lip was a smart choice, but we wish she had gone for a less faded lipstick.
Accessories
The traditional earrings are pretty, but what this outfit really needs is a pop of colour. Neon accents are all the rage on and off runways. Some delicious yellow, bubble gum pink or orange bangles would have spruced up the look.
Outfit
We can’t decide if that’s a kurta or a button-down shirt. Regardless of what it is, it would have been so much snazzier if paired with printed tights and a funky belt. The teal top on beige pants is just too plain a combination.
Shoes
We don’t hate the wedges, but they are adding way too much beige than we would like. Some neon-coloured pumps would have done the trick.
Bail out!
Hilary Duff
The singer and actor wore these green plaid pants, a tan top and gray sweater — a great way to pair dark pants with a chirpier top.
Kylie Minogue
The diva wore this black velvet blazer with red plaid pants, proving that there’s nothing dowdy about plaid when it’s got some colour.
Milla Jovovich
The model wore a black shirt tucked into plaid pants similar to what Kiran is wearing. She pulled it off because the tucked in top looked smart and sophisticated, unlike the East meets West concoction we have here.
